David Roberts

David

David Roberts grew up in Milpitas California. He started playing piano when he was nine. By twelve he decided that he wanted to branch out with music, so he picked up his mothers guitar, and never looked back. He started performing at the age of sixteen at various churches and at an occasional club. He attended Ohlone College where he studied guitar and voice. David continues his education at San Jose State University where he is in the process of getting his composition degree. David has been teaching guitar, voice, piano, and early music classes in Milpitas and San Jose for eight years.

Meredith Webber

MeredithMeredith Webber comes to us from Virginia where she taught public school music classes in Roanoke and also private lessons in her Christiansburg studio.  She was a classically trained soprano and music education student at Virginia Tech, graduating cum laude in 2000.  Meredith, upon her arrival to California in the summer of 2006, worked in the wine business before transitioning back to her true passion, education.  Meredith enjoys traveling and outdoor adventure sports as well as playing music with friends.  She and her Golden Retriever, Lily, reside in San Francisco.

Matthew Magennis

Matthew

Matthew began work with children as an arts and craft instructor at the Children’s Museum of Portsmouth in Portsmouth, New Hampshire.  He then went on to be an assistant teacher to a pre-kindergarten class in pre-school.  He currently works as a fifth grade assistant at Saint Raymond’s School in Dublin, CA.  He is looking forward to continued studies in music at Laney College and is considering a music teaching credential.

 

Alesia Floro

Alesia Floro originally from the country of Belarus, a former Russian state, where she graduated from college with a degree in music. She said "I absolutely love all forms of music and it gives me great pleasure to teach music theory and piano playing to children of all ages!". Her favorite type of music is classical, but she also enjoys tango during weekly dance lessons in Santa Cruz! She lives in Boulder Creek, California after moving from Hawaii.
